Andy Williamson with B.Min 1 classThe Presbyterian Church of Vanuatu is our oldest Partner Church. It has a rich gospel heritage which is increasingly being challenged through the arrival of Western influences.

Talua Ministry Training Centre is the main focus of our ministry with the Presbyterian Church of Vanuatu. It is here that Glen and Rachael Connor and Andy and Rosemary Williamson teach those who are preparing for ministry. As well as teaching, Rosemary is involved in the writing of a strategic work — the Bislama Bible Commentary.

Talua Tuesday 31-07-12 017The Centre offers a Diploma of Theology and a Bachelor of Ministry programme. Funds are always needed for scholarships, student housing and the day-to-day running of the Centre. The college continues to expand and potential church leaders need to be well-equipped for life in the 21st century.

At Talua Glen & Rachael Connor and Andy & Rosemary Williamson serve on the lecturing staff. God-willing, they will be joined by John & Kara Dekker who will be replacing the Connors. If you would like to support John & Kara financially please go here.

For more information about Talua please download this document “What is Talua?”

Andrew & Marilyn Schache serve at Talua in maintenance and administration.

Brian and Judy Cullen from Queensland are teaching at Tata Secondary School near Talua. More recently we have partnered with the Presbyterian Church of Vanuatu to construct a Presbytery Resource at Liro on Paama Island through our Workpartners programme.
