Workpartners
Workpartners teams are made up of people who come from all over Australia to spend about 2 weeks doing building and renovation work in Vanuatu. In recent years, the team has been working with the staff and students of Talua Theological Institute. Located on Vanuatu’s largest island (Espiritu Santo, or “Santo” for short), Talua is the Bible College for the Presbyterian Church of Vanuatu. The college has been located for 26 years on this campus, after nearly 70 years on a nearby island. It’s in a tropical climate, and ongoing building maintenance is needed for this important and strategic facility.
Because of travel restrictions associated with Covid-19, there were no Workpartners trips in 2020, and (at this stage) none are planned for 2021.
If you would like to express interest in future trips, please contact Sheryl at the APWM office national@apwm.org.au and she will be happy to help you with the application forms.
