Workpartners

Page #2Workpartners teams are made up of people who come from all over Australia to spend about 2 weeks doing building and renovation work in Vanuatu. In recent years, the team has been working with the staff and students of Talua Theological Institute. Located on Vanuatu’s largest island (Espiritu Santo, or “Santo” for short), Talua is the Bible College for the Presbyterian Church of Vanuatu. The college has been located for 26 years on this campus, after nearly 70 years on a nearby island. It’s in a tropical climate, and ongoing building maintenance is needed for this important and strategic facility.

On the next trip, in November/December 2017, the Workpartners team is planning to complete work on an ablutions block for the male students. In addition to this, the team will spend time together in fellowship and in Bible studies, and also meeting and coming to know some wonderful Christian brothers and sisters. There will be opportunities for free time, and Workpartners will get to know the locals as they work and play alongside them. It will be a challenging trip, but also rewarding.
